1 pound of your favorite pasta
2 cups Newman's Own® Five Cheese or Vodka Pasta Sauce
½ cup grated mozzarella cheese (1 cup for the sauce, 1 cup for the topping)
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup grated asiago cheese
½ cup grated Romano cheese
½ cup chopped tomatoes
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup coarsely chopped parsley for garnish
Preheat oven to 450°F. Lightly oil a 13x9-inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and quickly bring the water back to a boil. Stir the pasta a few times so it does not stick or clump together and cook according to the manufacturer's directions. When the pasta is done, drain immediately in a colander and run cold water over it to stop the cooking.
In a large bowl, toss the pasta with the sauce, 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese, the other cheeses, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Press the pasta down gently with a large spoon and sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake 5 minutes more. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
