1 ½ lbs. veal, cut thin and lightly pounded
1 egg, beaten
¾ cup fine bread crumbs flavored with salt, pepper oregano and parmesan cheese
4 Tbsp butter + 2 Tbsp olive oil
8-10 thin slices mozzarella
2-3 cups Newman's Own® Marinara Pasta Sauce
½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Coat veal in egg and bread crumbs and sauté 1-2 minutes on each side with butter and olive oil. Transfer to a buttered casserole.
Top with mozzarella slices and pasta sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake in 350° oven for 20-30 minutes or until mozzarella is melted and top is lightly browned.
