1 pound ground chuck
4 hamburger buns
Bermuda onions, thinly sliced
Kosher dill pickles, slivered
Newman's Own® Ranch Dressing
Form the chuck into 4 equally sized hamburger patties. Don’t pat down the meat as the hamburger won't be able to breathe while cooking. Also, do not salt or pepper or add any other seasoning to the meat before cooking as it will toughen it.
Prepare the charcoal and grease the grill with vegetable oil, but don't put the meat on the heat until the charcoals are uniformly grayish white. Sear the burgers well on one side and turn only once. After turning them, sear the other side for a brief time.
Place on toasted hamburger buns. Serve with sliced tomatoes, onions, pickles and dressing on the side.
