6 quality bratwursts
24 ounces tomato juice
1 head cauliflower
1 pound pasta
2 Tbsp olive oil or butter
1 jar Newman’s Own® Alfredo Sauce
Place the brats in a large saucepan. Add the tomato juice and simmer over a low flame for ½ hour to 3 hours, depending on your schedule.
Boil water in a large stockpot. Meanwhile, remove brats from saucepan and cool to the point that you can slice them Wash and quarter the cauliflower.
Once the water is boiling in the stockpot, add the cauliflower and cook for three minutes. Remove to cutting board, but keep the water boiling. When cauliflower is cool, cut into similar sized pieces. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions.
In a 12-inch skillet, heat the oil or butter over medium. Add the chopped brats and cauliflower, stirring frequently. Once the pasta is done, add it to the brats and cauliflower along with the jar of Alfredo sauce. Toss to thoroughly combine and heat through. Garnish with a sprig of basil and serve.
