28-30 wonton wrappers
1 tsp vegetable oil
4 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely shredded carrots
1 pound ground chicken or pork
1/4 cup water chestnuts, chopped
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/3 cup Newman's Own® Lite Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 375 °F. Lay wonton wrappers inside mini muffin tins. With dampened fingers, gently press down inside cups and up the edges. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden.
To prepare filling, heat oil over medium high heat in a large non stick skillet. Add onion, garlic and carrot. Cook stirring frequently, until onion is soft, 2 to 3 minutes. Add Red pepper flakes, water chestnuts and meat. Cook until meat is cooked through, breaking up clumps into small pieces.
Whisk together Lite Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing and honey in a small bowl. Pour over meat and stir to combine. Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes to combine flavors. Fill cups with a spoonful of meat filling and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
