1 pound box of ziti, cooked
1 pound cottage cheese
1 pound mozzarella, diced (or Swiss or Muenster cheese)
1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 medium onions, diced
Garlic powder, salt and pepper, to taste
1 jar Newman's Own® Roasted Garlic Red & Green Peppers, Tomato & Roasted Garlic, or Cabernet Pasta Sauce
grated parmesan cheese
Sauté beef until brown and set aside. Sauté mushrooms and onions until limp and add to meat.
Mix in cheese and about 1 cup pasta sauce and seasonings. Place cooked ziti in a buttered casserole, add meat and cheese mixture and cover with remaining sauce.
Bake covered at 350° for 1 hour. Serve with grated parmesan.
