3 whole skinned and boned chicken breasts, halved
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup seasoned flour (use salt, pepper, and other herbs if desired)
1-2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
3 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 large onion, chopped
1 jar Newman's Own® Mushroom Marinara Sauce
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
Dip chicken breasts in egg, dredge in the seasoned flour, and roll in parmesan cheese, forcing cheese into all of the nooks and crannies.
Place chicken in frying pan with butter and brown on both sides (about 3-5 minutes a side). Remove and place in baking dish. Cover chicken with chopped onion, pasta sauce, mozzarella, and any leftover parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350°F until browned on top, about 30 minutes.
