2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
3 shallots sliced
1 hot pepper, seeds removed, sliced thin
1 pound fresh washed green beans, stems removed
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp Newman's Own® Balsamic Dressing
1 tsp parmesan cheese freshly grated
1 garlic clove, finely minced
Heat a large Teflon-coated sauté pan on medium high heat. When hot, sauté shallots until browned, stirring and separating as they cook. Add hot pepper, green beans, and salt and pepper. Stir and cover.
Stir occasionally until green beans are soft, but slightly crunchy on high heat, approximately 6-8 minutes. Add sesame seeds. Stir for approximately 2 minutes on high heat or until slightly browned, uncovered.
Remove from heat. Add salad dressing, parmesan cheese, and garlic. Stir gently. Serve.
