1 ¼ pounds of lean ground beef (80% or better)
8 ounce package of button mushrooms (or baby Portobello’s), sliced
1 ½ cups Newman’s Own® Sockarooni Pasta Sauce
½ pound of linguine, cooked to package instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once meat has been browned, drain any drippings.
Add sliced mushrooms and allow to cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Add Newman’s Own® Sockarooni Pasta Sauce and bring to a boil. Then, lower heat to a simmer and cover for about 10 minutes.
Serve over cooked linguine.
