1 package (2 sheets) puff pastry, thawed
1 egg whisked with 1 Tbsp cold water
8 ounces bacon, chopped into fine pieces and pan-fried
2-3 heads broccoli, lightly steamed and chopped fine
1 ½ cups grated cheddar cheese
½ cup Newman’s Own® Sockarooni Pasta Sauce
Preheat oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the two sheets of puff pastry out on a floured surface and brush with egg wash.
In a medium bowl, combine the bacon, broccoli, and sauce and mix well. Evenly coat the puff pastry sheets with the bacon mixture. Top with an even coating of cheddar cheese.
Roll the pastry like a jelly roll, being careful not to let the ingredients spill out the sides. Cut each roll into 5-6 pieces and place them on baking sheet and brush with more egg mixture.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning sheet once halfway through baking.
