Red Hot Ribs Rub with Barbecue Sauce

4 pounds baby back ribs
Red Hot Ribs Dry Rub:
1/4 cup seasoned salt
2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp ground oregano

Barbecue Sauce:
1 jar of Newman's Own® All-Natural Bandito Salsa
1 can tomato sauce (16 oz.)
1 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper
salt and pepper, to taste


  • Remove ribs from package. Rinse and pat dry with paper towels.

  • Sift together ingredients for Dry Rub, and rub generously over surface of ribs. Refrigerate for an hour.

  • As ribs chill, mix ingredients for Barbecue Sauce in saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Cool and set aside.

  • Grill ribs slowly on indirect heat on until done. Serve with Barbeque Sauce on side.
